Rescue and Welfare

The Club operates a Rescue & Welfare scheme that is approved by the Kennel Club. The goal is to offer help to any owner experiencing difficulties with their Portuguese Podengo, or for those who require information on the breed, and to assist in any current situation when needed.

If you need to talk to the Club confidentialy about any welfare issues or wish to discuss re-homing a young or older Podengo for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are also always pleased to hear from suitable homes that may be interested in adopting a Podengo, should the need arise.
